On Tour with Duc & Quan

11th January 2010

This is a little belated but even 4 months on we wanted to let others know just how much we enjoyed our tour with Duc and Quan, the original Easy Riders!

We spent 5 days travelling between Dalat and Hoi An through the Central Highlands in September 2009. It was with out doubt the best part of our trip in the whole of South East Asia. There are too many reasons to list why you should join up on one of these tours so I will just note the main three.

1. The boys: Duc and Quan were nothing short of fantastic. They were well organised, efficient and most of all good fun. Their knowledge of everything Vietnamese, from agriculture to history, was extensive and we both learnt a great deal about this intriguing nation. In the evening the boys took us to the best local restaurants and entertained us with their hilarious stories.

2. The Information: This really is the best way to get to know the true Vietnam from those who have experienced first hand the hardships the country has been through. You will about the countries turbulent history and agricultural practices. Its always best to get a non biased viewpoint.

3. The Food: Duc told us at the beginning of the trip that it would be a culinary tour as much as anything else and he was right! Superb food from the best local restaurants and cheap as chips. After a long day ion the bikes its nice to know that your evening meal will be as satisfying as your activities.

Thank you Duc and Quan for an unforgettable experience that we both still cherish very fondly. We have recommended you to all those we meet planning to travel through Vietnam.Good luck for the future, you both deserve to achieve everything you dream of.
